It's a brand new release, of course the multiplayer is anything but dead. Even as the game ages though, multiplayer will probably stay active for a long time thanks to crossplay and quick matchmaking. nope, not dead. It especially is when looking for other mode than Hot Pursuit and race to some extent.

I purchased this game over the Christmas sale. And really I don't play it that much. Just kind of reminds me of the 90s. I spent hours upon hours on the first Need for Speed games. Especially when you had one of your buddies over. Get on some split screen and have a bunch of laughs and have a good time. The Internet is great and all but it kind of screwed things up as well.
